Move your existing stores without rebuilding each one by hand

The short answer

Reqursor Platform is designed to study each existing store, rebuild it, move its data and check that the new store matches the old one before your domain switches over. Moving existing stores is in progress in early access.

What moving a store involves

Moving a store by hand means a developer rebuilds it and moves its data, one store at a time.

Reqursor Platform is designed to do that work for each store, and you review the result before your domain changes.

What Reqursor Platform does with each store

For each store it is designed to study the extensions, theme, settings and content, draft a setup for you to review, rebuild the store on Reqursor and move your products, orders, customers, images and SEO settings. Anything that cannot move is flagged before the move starts.

Your original store is never changed during the process. The analysis and the content move only read from it.

How the switch works

The new store is compared with the old one before it goes live. If something does not match, you decide whether to fix it, try again or stop before your domain ever changes.

Your web address switches over once everything checks out. If anything goes wrong after the switch, your domain points back to the old store automatically.

Where this stands

Early access starts with a pilot, so you see the results on your own stores before you choose a plan.

Moving existing stores is one of the steps early access is still rolling out. When you apply, tell us what your clients' stores run on and we will let you know whether we can move them.

Good fit

  • Agencies with a portfolio of existing stores that they want to bring onto Reqursor Platform.
  • Teams that want to review a drafted setup and a match check instead of rebuilding each store by hand.
  • Agencies whose stores run on the one widely used store platform Reqursor Platform supports today.

Not the right fit

  • Your stores run on a store platform other than the one supported today. Support for more is planned.
  • You expect a fully finished move process today. Moving existing stores is still in progress in early access.
  • You want to skip the pilot. Early access starts with a pilot on your own stores.

Frequently asked questions

Your original store is never changed during the move, because the analysis and content move only read from it. If the new store does not match, you decide whether to fix it, try again or stop. After the switch, your domain points back to the old store automatically if anything goes wrong.

Products, orders, customers, images and SEO settings move over. Before that, Reqursor Platform studies the store's extensions, theme, settings and content and drafts a setup for you to review, so you see what the rebuilt store will contain before your domain switches.
